Building Staffs
Currently employed Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineer, Architects, Civil Engineers. All Engineers are Certified QCM and Safety Officers. We also have around Project Superintendents. We have existing Local Skilled site crew. We also have Temporary Skilled Workers under the H2B Program. We have partnered with Global Manpower Services to provide more manpower to execute newly and future awarded contracts. Our new local recruits are now on-the-job training getting ready to be our future skilled workers. We have good business relationships with the best & hardworking Architects in our Design Team. We have the best professional Engineers & Consultants of Guam. We maintained a group of local reliable Subcontractors with different trades to successfully complete each awarded contract delivered on time, to the best quality product, with no safety issues.
History Emphasis
Modern International, Inc. (MII) was incorporated since January 6, 1983, a General
Contractor licensed to operate in Guam. MII is a HUBZone Small Business Certified. We
have teamed up with our existing Design Team lead by Engineering Partners, Inc., Safety
Consultant, selected Local Subcontractors and Other Relevant Consultants with varied
specialties to effectively complete each Task Order safely, and quality work completed on
time.
Most of the past performed projects and current projects are Design Build (DB) projects and
some Designed Bid Build projects. Over the years, MII performed numerous federal projects
such as Antenna Radomes, Hangars, Big Generators, Roofing, Buildings, Major & Minor
Renovations/Alterations, Repairs & Upgrade works, Demolitions, Fire Alarm Systems and all
kinds of construction works.
Modern International obtained an outstanding/good rating on completed federal projects
based on CPARS Evaluation with regards to the safety, quality and performance of work.
Quality controls are well implemented, and safety and performance ratings are exceptionally
good on every projects. Our capability extends well beyond Mechanical, Electrical and Fire
Alarm Systems, and we have performed and completed other project that are heavy Civil,
Structural and Architectural works.
